Paul Fixed Word rear hub - 135mm spacing

The Fixed Word rear hubs is CNC-machined in Chico, CA from 2-1/8″ round bars of aircraft grade 6061 American made aluminum and put through four different machining processes before they go to finishing.

The small flanges are canted towards the rim, and the spoke holes are chamfered to reduce stress on the head and elbow of the spoke, while a 7075-AL inner axle body, sealed-cartridge bearings and stainless steel hardware make this hub absolutely bomb-proof.

The Fixed Word hub also includes hardware that Paul affectionately calls “Fancy Bolts", with washers are made of brass and have deeply knurled contact faces. This ensures they'll grip onto dropout faces without marring the frame, yet will still be able to loosen without brute force.
